My
name is Manuel and thanks to the Biscuit Fund I am now a healthy Chihuahua. My story began when I was abandoned in a box
at a Skytrain Station in Burnaby, BC.
Thank goodness someone found me and brought me to the
Vancouver SPCA Shelter.
I had a medical condition called
Dermoid Sinus and I needed to have a special operation to get it
fixed. The operation
was very specialized and it cost a lot of money, $5,000 to be
exact! You may look
at me and think that’s a lot of money for such a little dog, but
if you really got to know me and saw how loving and how much fun I
am you would realize that size just doesn’t matter.
I realize it’s a lot of money
and there are other animals that need help just as much as I do,
but I’m showing my support by fundraising for other animals in
critical need. With the help of my mom, I made a paw painting, which has now
been printed on t-shirts. Be
a proud supporter of the Biscuit Fund by wearing my t-shirt!
