Jacob,  Biscuit Fund Ambassador

A Maple Ridge boy with a big heart for animals has successfully raised more than $18,000 for the BC SPCA Biscuit Fund.

After seeing a story about an abused dog in the news,  Jacob Carbery decided to make a difference by organizing a hot chocolate stand and going door to door in his neighbourhood to raise money for injured animals. He then took his plan even further by organizing a 'Wiggle Waggle Walk' in Maple Ridge on Feb. 12 that attracted more than 200 participants and raised thousands of dollars.  The second and third Wiggle Waggle Walks also attracted a large group of generous people!
